Elaborate, hand-made vase in an unusual design.
Basically, it consists of a cube and a cuboid, with the cuboid also being the opening for the flowers or branches. Instead of attaching the handles to the sides as is usual, I attached them to two corners. This visually breaks up the right angles and creates a refreshingly different impression than what you are used to from rectangular handle vases.
The decoration is also special. Areas printed with underglaze color alternate with areas in which the same pattern is pressed and covered with dark engobe. The glaze is correspondingly varied: shiny areas highlight the matte ones and underline the pattern.

Note: For environmental reasons, I reuse packaging materials such as cardboard boxes or bubble wrap whenever possible. The flakes for filling are made from peas.
