Asian-looking vase, made using the recess technique. The opening rises above the cube like a chalice and takes away its severity with its curved shape. It looks most beautiful when it is filled with just a single branch or flower.
The vase is made of dark, coarsely chamotted earthenware clay and is glazed black.
